Consultations incur an out-of-pocket fee, we do not bulk-bill Medicare. Most consultations attract a Medicare rebate which is processed during your visit and is deposited into your nominated bank account, usually that day.

Private health funds do not contribute towards optometric consultation fees, they fund the cost of prescription spectacles and contact lenses. The exact amount depends on the policy and fund you have.
